Long gone are the days of the pigeon, and even I am now accepting that when it comes to the conveying of news and information, it is astonishing by what is made possible as a consequence of embracing today’s technology.

Fortunately, three of our young members, Dan Howe, Tom Montgomery and The Turk, all Academy Graduates, have got together to build the Club’s new website, for which I’m immensely grateful. With around two hundred members, there is an ever increasing need for us to keep everybody up to date in what is the latest news from around the world. We’re very fortunate in having so many storytellers, and it’s so much fun to read of what has been happening, be it on the water or plans for the future.

In short, I guess I’m asking our members to keep our editors fully briefed with regard to events, and indeed “Incidents”. This will enable us to keep you all totally in the picture. Talking of which, do send us your photos too, they would also be gratefully received.
